What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

To get the best care that I am able to give.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

I believe that communication is important. Appropriate diagnosis and treatment depend on a patient’s ability to share symptoms and concerns, along with their ability to listen. Empathy- A doctor who fully understands where a patient is coming from is better able to build trust and provide advice and treatments that align with the patient’s needs. Trusting that your doctor will deliver ethical guidance best suited to your particular health needs is another must-have in a healthy relationship.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy pending time with family, church, reading, bike riding, cooking, fishing and gardening.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

The most rewarding aspect of being a doctor is a tie between the joy of seeing people get better with your help and knowing that your family members are proud of you and what you do.
