Baptist Medical Group is a multispecialty physician practice that includes the largest network of doctors in the Mid-South. Through our medical practices, hospital-based physicians and outpatient centers, we care for patients throughout the region, including west Tennessee, north Mississippi and northeastern Arkansas.
More than 600 specialists and primary care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, etc.) offer patients local and regional health care options across more than 30 specialties, including, cardiology, pediatrics, oncology, orthopedic, internal medicine and many more.
The Difference Between Baptist Medical Group and Baptist Memorial Health Care
Baptist Medical Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baptist Memorial Health Care and includes a group of physicians who practice in locations across the Mid-South. Baptist Medical Group has multiple primary care, internal medicine and subspecialty physician practices. Recently acquired practices include Stern Cardiovascular, Memphis Internal Medicine and Forest Hill Family Practice.
Baptist Memorial Health Care is a network of hospitals throughout the Mid-South that includes 21 affiliate hospitals. Baptist Medical Group doctors are affiliated with Baptist Memorial Health Care, but they practice medicine at independent, private practices throughout the region.
Formed in 2010, the Baptist Medical Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baptist Memorial Health Care.
