Keli Makela Turner, MD

Dr. Keli Turner graduated magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where she also earned her medical degree. As a resident, she was awarded the American Association for Cancer Research Judah Folkman Fellowship for Anti-Angiogenesis Research, a grant utilized to study the interaction of cytokines and the blood supply in pancreatic tumors. Her clinical interests include skin cancers, sarcoma (soft tissue tumors), malignant tumors of the gastrointestinal tract including peritoneal carcinomatosis, and breast cancer. Originally from Chattanooga, Tenn., Dr. Turner joined Baptist Medical Group in 2020.
