What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

A physician who intensely enjoys the relationship-building aspect of medicine. I want to get to know you as a person and work with you to reach your goals on your journey to better health. My focus is primarily on you the patient, not just your disease process. My focus is on treating you and your body focuses on the osteopathic philosophy in my practice of medicine with the goal of allowing your body to self-regulate and heal.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Relationship building. Knowing you and your goals as well as understanding your experience in the health care system to date is essential in providing the best possible diagnosis and treatment. It is a true privilege to know people in the way we do as physicians, and I try to honor that privileged information as I work with you to achieve better health.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy woodworking, yard work, home maintenance (minor repair work), and spending time with my family.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

I enjoy using osteopathic manipulative treatment to provide symptom relief to those experiencing what can appear to be an unusual or difficult problem. Restoring hope that healing is possible is a truly amazing experience.
