What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

To receive quality, compassionate care in an efficient manner with their best interest in mind. They can also expect me to be accessible, and to communicate thoroughly.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust. As a physician, and particularly as a surgeon, it is very important that my patients trust me and my judgement. That trust must start to develop as soon as I walk in room, and I try to develop that trust right away.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy running, cycling, triathlons and Reading

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

For the most part, surgical patients have an acute or sub-acute problem that needs fairly quick attention. Being able to provide a service for patients, and seeing immediate positive results is very rewarding.
