Meet The Doctor

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

I practice evidence-based medicine. I inform patients about their disease and explain what treatments are available to them to improve their health and prevent chronic diseases. While it is my duty to give them the information and help them understand, it is up to them to follow the guidelines. I think it is very important, and I get a lot of satisfaction knowing, that they get to choose what is right for them.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Open communication and trust are the most important parts of the doctor-patient relationship.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy spending time with my family. I started running for exercise a few years ago, and I find it fun.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

Building strong connections and relationships with my patients. I grew up thinking that physicians are professionals who are trusted by the community that they serve. I appreciate the trust my patients place in me and, to me, keeping their trust is very important. And I find it extremely rewarding to have that closeness with patients as I work with them to improve their health.
