What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

When you have me as your doctor, you can expect a partner in your health journey who is deeply committed to your better health outcomes and well-being. During every clinic visit, I'll take time to discuss all your complaints and concerns, lifestyle and any difficulties you may have in following the management plan. My emphasis is on clear communication, so you'll always know what is happening with your health care and why certain decisions are made.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Most important factor in doctor-patient relationship is trust. When a patient trusts their doctors, they are more likely to be open and honest about their concerns which leads to accurate management plans. Trust also encourages patients to follow medical advice and adhere to the treatment regimes, all of which contribute to better health outcomes.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

Gardening is my newfound hobby. During my free time, I also like to spend time with my family and friends, and watch movies, documentaries and TED talks.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

Helping patients manage their diabetes and obesity is very rewarding. It is fulfilling to see the improvement in their quality of life and prevent complications related to these disorders. Another important aspect is the ability to offer these patients not just the medical therapy, but also lifestyle guidance that can lead to significant and lasting changes.
