Baptist Medical Group – Equipped, Safe and Ready
At Baptist Medical Group, our patients are our first priority. Many of you may have conditions or concerns that require treatment and care coordination with your provider or BMG care team. We’d like to share with you some of the safety precautions we have put in place at all of our clinics.
- Upon arrival to our clinics, you will be greeted at the door by a team member who will take your temperature and ask if you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms. (If you have a temperature, we’ll ask that you remain in your vehicle as a precaution. We will call your cell phone when your provider is ready to see you.)
- We are providing all of our patients with a mask to wear for the duration of their visit. Every member of the BMG team will also be wearing a mask.
- We’ve adjusted our schedules to keep our well patients and sick patients separated. Our well patients are seen in the morning for physicals, follow ups and routine labs. All sick patients are being scheduled to see a provider in the afternoon.
- We are thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting each exam room after each visit.
Virtual Care
While we have taken all necessary steps to ensure your safety, we understand you may still have concerns about visiting your provider’s office. To ensure that you have access to your physician or care team, we are offering a variety of telehealth options. Video visits, e-visits and telephone visits are now available with your provider and are covered by insurance. You can request any of these telehealth visits through MyChart or by calling your provider. Visit our MyChart page to register and activate your free MyChart account.
